Online Temporary Library Card Application

If you are in need of a library, you can now apply online for a Library Card. 
This is a temporary library card number and will allow you to place holds and access the library's eBooks and eAudiobooks.
This card is only available to Illinois residents in the Round Lake Area Library District.

**This card is will only be valid for 30 days. To complete registration and receive your physical card, you will need to present a picture ID with proof of address during your next library visit.


In-Person Library Card Registration

For Round Lake Area Library District Residents
Bring in a picture ID with proof of address.

Suggested items:

  • Driver's License
  • State ID
  • FOID
  • Current Bill dated within the past month (utility bill, credit card bill, etc.)
  • Auto Registration
  • Matricula Card
