Cellular phones, pagers, and other electronic devices must be turned off or set to quiet mode upon entering the library. Brief cellular phone calls are allowed in the library as long as they a) are not held in designated quiet areas and b) meet the expected reasonable level of conversation. Patrons not complying with this policy may be requested by library staff to complete their cell phone conversations in the entryway or outside the library.

Policy adopted by the Library Board of Trustees – January, 2008
